After getting through t he first day of Kindergarten, I thought today might be a piece of cake. No different than when I first had to drop him off at daycare when he was a baby (I taught until he was 3), something about handing him off to a teacher makes the tears start to well up in my eyes. Today is Big Brother’s 1st day of first grade!! He seemed entirely too grown up this morning as we got ready and headed off to school.
